ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • With limited supervision, oversee background checks, and keep hiring managers and recruiters informed throughout the background check process.
  • With limited supervision, oversee the completion of I-9 forms and other compliance-related documentation to maintain legal standards.
  • Independently respond promptly to teammate needs, analyze issues, and implement effective solutions to enhance satisfaction and resolve concerns.
  • Key player in identifying challenges in HR transactions and recommending innovative solutions to leadership, improving process efficiency.
  • Proactively identify and address factors impacting the delivery of high-quality HR services.
  • Apply sound judgment and experience in interpreting and implementing HR policies and guidelines.
  • Effectively prioritize tasks, identify operational barriers, and communicate these to leadership. Prepare and manage detailed reports as required.
  • Demonstrate high levels of accountability, following through on commitments and assuming responsibility for outcomes.
  • Foster positive relationships within the workforce, addressing and resolving employee issues empathetically and effectively.
  • Understand and anticipate teammate expectations, delivering services that meet and exceed departmental standards.
  • Provide timely and efficient support in resolving HR-related issues, ensuring a seamless experience for all employees.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong ability to analyze complex information, identify patterns and solutions in data, and make data-driven decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information and ideas clearly to individuals at all levels within the organization. Proficiency in crafting sensitive communication, such as offer letters, and resolving conflicts through mediation.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building and maintaining organizational solid relationships. Ability to empathize with employees, understand their needs and concerns, and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and projects effectively. Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues quickly and develop practical solutions that maintain the integrity of HR services and employee satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and other relevant software, with the ability to adapt to new technologies that enhance HR operations.
  • Strong initiative and self-direction, with a commitment to high-performance standards. Ready to take full responsibility for actions and decisions in a dynamic environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a strong focus on ensuring compliance in HR practices, from documentation to policy implementation.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required.
  • 3-5 years of human resources experience, with experience supporting various HR issues and compliance management.
