Category Director

This is an on-site role located in Lewisville, TX.

Essential Job Duties: 

• Lead the strategic direction and governance of procurement across all major spend categories. 

• Develop and execute long-term sourcing strategies that enhance profitability and strengthen supplier partnerships. 

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Legal to deliver strategic and financial outcomes. 

• Oversee supplier negotiations, executive reviews, and high-impact sourcing initiatives. 

• Build, coach, and empower senior procurement leaders to drive performance and professional growth. 

• Champion continuous improvement, digital transformation, and innovation across procurement systems and processes. 

Skills/Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred. 

• 12+ years of progressive procurement experience, including significant leadership scope. 

• Proven experience driving procurement transformation and supplier governance programs. 

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking abilities. 

• Strong executive presence and ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
