We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Project Manager, IT Infrastructure to lead and oversee all technology infrastructure projects within the organization, with a critical focus on infrastructure modernization and a complex migration to the cloud—including both lift-and-shift and migration to native cloud architecture. This role ensures the reliability, performance, and security of IT solutions that support organizational goals. The Project Manager will coordinate closely with the infrastructure, application engineering, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and product teams to deliver integrated, high-impact solutions. Reporting to the Chief of Staff to the CTO, this leader will manage cross-functional teams, align project strategies with business objectives, and ensure seamless integration with the broader technology strategy.
Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive project strategies and roadmaps to ensure the quality, scalability, and performance of IT infrastructure and cloud solutions, enhancing operational efficiency and user experience.
Center Infrastructure Upgrade Project Management: Provide project management for updates to the network infrastructure and end-user devices across our 1800+ repair centers, ensuring consistency, reliability, and minimal disruption to business operations.
Cloud Migration Project Management: Manage a complex migration to the cloud, including both lift-and-shift and transformation to native cloud architecture.
Team Collaboration: Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, application development, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and product teams, to deliver robust solutions aligned with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
Business Alignment: Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, addressing gaps and implementing solutions that support the organization’s culture and growth initiatives.
Implementation Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end execution of infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and resource constraints while maintaining high-quality standards.
Integration and Innovation: Drive the integration of infrastructure initiatives with ongoing application, security, and product development efforts; leverage automation tools, cloud-native technologies, and analytics to streamline processes and improve reliability.
Performance Management: Monitor key project metrics, analyze results, and incorporate stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement within the technology ecosystem.
Vendor and Partner Collaboration: Manage relationships with vendors and third-party partners, conducting performance assessments and reviews to ensure high-quality support and innovation.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with shared technology resources and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated, high-impact infrastructure solutions.
Compliance and Security: Ensure all infrastructure changes comply with organizational standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of emerging infrastructure methodologies, cloud technologies, and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Infrastructure Expertise: Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
Cloud Migration Experience: Proven experience leading cloud migration projects, including lift-and-shift and native cloud architecture transitions.
Process Optimization: Strong background in optimizing infrastructure processes within complex operational environments.
Analytical Skills: Data-driven mindset with proficiency in leveraging analytics and key performance indicators to inform decision-making.
Leadership and Communication: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, align stakeholders, and drive adoption of infrastructure solutions in an agile environment.
Technical Acumen: Familiarity with project management and infrastructure tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello), cloud-based solutions, and integration technologies.
Change Management: Experience in managing organizational change and delivering training to ensure successful adoption of new processes and tools.
Education, Experience, and Other Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, cloud certifications) are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in IT infrastructure project management roles, with hands-on experience managing cross-functional teams for enterprise technology implementations. Experience in large-scale enterprise environments is highly desirable.
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred; additional certifications in cloud technologies, agile methodologies, or ITIL are advantageous.
Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally to Lewisville and other company locations as needed.
