The Senior Field Services Technology Engineer plays a critical role in supporting and advancing the technologies that power Caliber Collision’s 1,800+ center operations. This role is responsible for engineering, integrating, and maintaining applications that directly enable the productivity, communication, and operational excellence of the Field Technology organization. The position focuses on digital signage platforms, enterprise system integrations, unified communications, and building proactive monitoring solutions across the center portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Deployment Engineering & Support
Serve as the primary deployment engineer for systems supporting Caliber Collision centers and Field Technology operations.
Maintain and optimize mission-critical applications including digital signage, ERP integrations, telecom expense management (TEM), and Ivanti ITSM/endpoint management.
Own applications end-to-end, including configuration, performance tuning, workflow updates, dependency management, and lifecycle governance.
System Integrations & Automation
Design, develop, and maintain integrations between ERP platforms and Field Technology systems to streamline data flow, reduce manual work, and enhance visibility.
Build and maintain bi-directional integrations with TEM, Ivanti, and other operational platforms.
Automate recurring processes and create workflows that improve operational efficiency across IT and center operations.
Digital Signage Engineering
Support and engineer Caliber’s nationwide digital signage environment, including media players, content distribution workflows, region/store assignments, and platform management.
Partner with field techs and vendors to ensure signage uptime, content accuracy, and scalable deployment processes.
Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) Support
Provide advanced engineering support for Microsoft Teams Rooms installations across the organization.
Develop configuration standards, troubleshoot complex issues, optimize device interoperability, and support rollouts or upgrades.
Partner with AV engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure stable, high-quality video collaboration experiences.
Proactive Monitoring & Alerting
Build and maintain proactive monitoring platforms to support the entire center portfolio.
Engineer automated alerting, health dashboards, and diagnostic workflows to identify issues before they impact operations.
Develop monitoring integrations across network, application, signage, device, and field infrastructure systems.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
Work closely with Field Technology, Infrastructure, AV Engineering, Networking, and Operations teams to deliver stable and scalable solutions.
Serve as a technical escalation point for critical incidents involving applications, integrations, and signage systems.
Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in system reliability and performance.
Required Experience & Qualifications
5–8+ years of experience in application engineering, systems integration, or IT operations.
Experience with ERP integrations, TEM platforms, and ITSM/endpoint management solutions (Ivanti preferred).
Strong knowledge of digital signage systems, remote device management, or large-scale deployment workflows.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms or similar UC/AV platforms.
Experience building dashboards, analytics, and insights using Power BI or similar BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Domo).
Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., LogicMonitor, Datadog, PRTG, or custom-built dashboards).
Ability to design APIs, scripts, or lightweight automation (PowerShell, Python, RESTful APIs, etc.).
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
