Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Fulfillment & Operations Excellence 

• Lead end-to-end fulfillment ops including receiving, inventory control, packing, and shipping  
• Partner with the Procurement Team to ensure the most cost-effective pricing is achieved  
• Ensure fast, accurate, and reliable delivery of items to support field and center execution  
• Establish and maintain workflows that drive throughput, reduce cycle time, and eliminate operational friction  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and performance-driven warehouse environment 

Inventory Accuracy & Control

• Own inventory integrity through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes  
• Implement disciplined controls for high-value tools, calibration equipment, parts, and fleet-related assets  
• Partner with Procurement to align inventory levels with demand and forecast accuracy  
• Proactively reduce shrinkage, obsolescence, and excess inventory  

Fleet Management & Oversight 

• Oversee the management of the company fleet of vehicles supporting Protech and mobile business operations  
• Partner with Field Leadership and Fleet stakeholders to ensure vehicles are properly assigned, maintained, tracked, and available to support business needs  
• Monitor fleet utilization, vehicle readiness, maintenance schedules, and downtime to support technician productivity  
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections, registrations, and compliance requirements  
• Support disciplined tracking of fleet-related assets, equipment, and inventory assigned to company vehicles  
• Identify opportunities to improve fleet efficiency, reduce operating costs, and maximize vehicle availability  

Fleet & Field Enablement 

• Ensure rapid and dependable fulfillment supporting fleet repair, maintenance, and calibration services  
• Enable Protech mobile technicians with timely access to critical tools, components, and properly equipped vehicles  
• Coordinate expedited and same-day logistics to minimize technician downtime and delays  
• Support vehicle readiness to ensure field teams have access to safe, reliable, and properly stocked company vehicles 

Process Improvement & Scalability 

• Develop, implement, and enforce standardized operating procedures (SOPs)  
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives using data and performance metrics  
• Build scalable processes to support multi-site growth, fleet expansion, and increasing operational complexity  
• Leverage KPIs to monitor performance and drive accountability across warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, and fleet operations 

Team Leadership & Development 

• Lead, and develop high-performing warehouse team  
• Establish clear expectations, roles, and accountability standards  
• Foster a culture centered on safety, performance, and continuous improvement  
• Align staffing and resources to meet fluctuating demand 

Safety & Compliance 

• Ensure full compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations  
• Lead safety training, audits, and continuous awareness initiatives  
• Promote a safety-first culture across all warehouse and fleet-related operations  
• Support compliance with company vehicle policies, inspection requirements, and safe vehicle operating standards 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualifications 

• 5+ years distribution center fleet experience  
• Proven ability to drive operational efficiency and process improvement  
• Experience with inventory management systems (WMS)  
• Experience overseeing fleet operations, vehicle readiness, maintenance coordination, or asset management preferred  
• Demonstrated success partnering across multiple departments  
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
